Somehow Calgary with McLennan in goal are competing with the loaded Avs team and Roy.Sakic and Forsberg are all over the place(good for my pool ;D...not the HabsRus one)
If the Flames can somehow keep that team together and get a good player for Savard they should be a strong team for along time. They have much more offence now with Drury, Kobasew and Gelinas added to their top 2 lines the past off-season. Leopold looks very good back on D as well.

Entertaining hockey game tonight.Iginla had a chance to win the game on a few occasions and I think that the flames got the better of the avs on this night.I hope that they continue playing well and make the playoffs this season.

wow Iginla seems snake bit. Getting assists but no goals.
That was a great game to watch.Love those Western games at 10 pm on Saturdays. Always better after a Habs win of course ;D

That was Calgary's best effort this year. If Turek were in net, I think it would have been a "W". I was at the game on thursday when they shut out Boston. the score flattered them. They were running around alot. They seemed to be a little more in control tonight. They've got some work to do on defense, still, but up front is looking good. the goals will come soon enough for iggy, he's just trying too hard. If they can keep this group together, they should be good for a long, long time. Time will tell...
