Too bad that deal couldn't have been pulled off, eh?
I'm sure alot of Morozov's production could be directly attributed to the fact that he plays on Mario's wing, but he'd still look alot better in the red, white and blue than the little guy the Habs got from Dallas.

if you think that is bad.. Savard almost made a Weinrich for Morozov deal! And we are stuck with Traverse!!! Zednik-Koivu-Morozov...wow!!! and for those who say his success is all Mario, last year he score 20 some goals with 66 out for what? 60 games?

MP, is that just a rumour or was it confirmed somwhere? Yvon Pedneault said it last Tuesday and I think Andre Savard probably told him that. Because he said ''Andre Savard almost traded Weinrich for Morozov 2 years ago''. He was certain. What a freakin' shame.

What a freakin' shame. First of all, this might be Pedneault taking a spin on some old rumour. And anyhow, what's to say Morozov would have developped properly ? AS would have gotten us a veteran winger some other way, and we'd have him as a healthy scratch half the time, 4th line the other half.
