Zednik-Koivu-Petrov Czerkawski-Perreault-Audette Bulis-Juneau-Dackell Kilger-Gilmour-McKay www.cyberpresse.ca/reseau/sp...2100150501.htmlFinally, Therrien creates a checking bump line with Gilmour. I only suggested this in August, for cryin' out loud.

Nice.
Finally we have a line with some ''bump''.
And if Petrov doesn't produce with Koivu/Zednik(give him 2-3 games) try Chow or Audette there.
Nice to see MT FINALLY determine his top 2 offensive lines.

Bulis if he keeps playing this well should get promoted eventually IMO i know i know don't screw with a good thing and if it aint broke don't fix it but i think the kid is finally figuring out what it takes to play two way physical hockey and would look alot better than Petrov on the top line.
He's gonna be my new player to watch this year last year was Zed.

Hmmm... habsrus.proboards4.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&n=1&thread=5197Well, I guess MT can't be a total moron, despite the fact that he's come to these lines about a week or so late. As for Bulis earning a spot on the top line... I'm kinda iffy. For one, Bulis has played his best hockey with Juneau. He fits in with their play style really well. He might not look so good one line number one. Not to mention he'd either displace Zednik to the number two line, or force him to the RW (which - although Richard can play that position, he has had greater success on the LW)

L'il ole me?
Just because about a week after I put up what I think the lines shold be organized like MT follows suit?
There are 64 (4 * 4 * 4) possible line combinations, and mine just happen to get picked?
Well... I suppose it's not that unlikely, but still.
Damn... now I'm going to need to buy a bigger Canadiens hat....

What struck me was the defensive brutality of that 2nd line. Whoever they're up against only has to huff and puff to blow them down. There isn't enough Oil of Olay in the world to describe softeness like that. Charmin's production for a year wouldn't match up. The princess from the princess and a pea wouldn't notice the pea if she laid on those.....ooops. Uh .......forget that last metaphor .

I like the grinding linesomething a few of us have been asking for! At least MT's trying someyhing new. I'm not going to start on the Petrov thing because I'm not a fan,so expect him to get some results the second I start harping about him. HFTO

I remember saying ''all Boston has to do is play the Guerin-Thornton'' duo against it and we will get killed.. so you never know...

Hmm...let's see didn't we say that of the Koivu-Perreault-Audette line before game 1 against Boston last year Very sneaky way to try and make your point, Marc. I would never consider Koivu soft and when I last looked at the spec line-up, it was Perrault with DA and MC, not Koivu. Thought you'd slip that by me huh?

ah but the Koivu at the time(who was at what? 70%) could hardly be considered ''strong''.
Anyways, the lines JV posted will be changed because Chow is getting a kick in the behind tonight...
