I believe that even with smaller players you can get the job done if the sacrifice is there. Guys like Perreault, Audette, Chow, and Brisbois don't have that special something inside of them. All four of these guys have tonnes of talent but when they are out there playing at 70% they are invisible. Lack of effort like heart is a contagious thing, with that in mind i believe it's time to get rid of some of these malignant players. If they haven't been inspired by guys like Gilmour, Zednic, Koivu, and Souray by now they never will be. You can't build a great team with guys like this in the line up. It is time for AS to get the balls to trade these heartless bodies that exist in the habs locker room.

Against the bruins Perreault was non-existent, and Chow wasn't there. Zednic, Gilmour, Koivu, and of course Theodore beat the Bruins.

Didn't Perreault score the series winning goal Didn't Audette score 3 or 4 goals on Saku's line? Damn I miss those days

AS went out and got us offensive-type players with little heart, let's not be surprised if it comes back to haunt him ! Czerkaswki has been dealt a couple of times, and never for much.... that's always a bad sign. I'd rather we still had Rucinsky... who at least was defensively solid.

Didn't perrault miss some games with the flu or a sore tooth or something. It was an awesome series, but if you replayed that series five times how many would the habs win.

I think Perreault missed the games in the Carolina series could be wrong though. If you replayed it 5 times who would win? I think the Bruins would probably win it 3 times, us 2 times. Dafoe was brutal and the 3rd game was the one that changed everything. But the Bruins...man they had so much talent up front and should have beat us because of it..
