P.S. You will notice that in one article they say that HabsAddict is smarter then BadCompany. And they know this all the way in Russia? Wow...............

I just registered and sent wrote this in their forum. If, for any reason they start to launch nuclear missiles, blame BadCompany. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We where surprised and pleased to find a Hab’s fan site in Russia. Our favorite team has fans sites around the world including Germany and Netherlands. As you know, we have a few Russian players that we admire here in Canada and United States. There is no one that works harder then Oleg Petrov, our little Russian Rocket. Andre Savard is negotiating a long term contract with Oleg. We also have a future star defenseman in Andrei Markov. Andrei is playing very, very good and is going to be one of the best defenseman in the Hab’s line up. We have book-marked your forum and will come to visit. We also have a forum that always discusses the Hab’s. If you like, you can visit us at: habsrus.proboards4.com/index.cgi?board=generalIt is wonderful to find Hab fans all over the world. It has been my pleasure to post in your great site. Thank you, HabsAddict

This is the latest update fromn our friends in Russsia. Wow, two post and I have yet to start an international incident. I am losing my touch. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ www.montrealcanadiens.ru/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl/YaBB.pl?board=habstwo&action=display&thread=22~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HabsAddict : << Is Tarasov healthy? Is he improving?>> He is haelthy, but sill be a second goalie in "Metallurgist". In the begining of season he play very poor and now not in "Top 25 goalies" (Where are only 18 teams in Superleague and around 36-40 goalies ...) <<Right now he is ranked 4 of the Hab's goaltenders.>> IMHO, It is a too generous estimation for him at present <<Has Tarasov done any interviews? Is Tarasov still interested in playing for the Hab's? >> I did not see interview with Tarasov recently and I can not tell something determined. But,IMHO, if he planned to play with Habs, he should not leave. <<Can you give us some information on how the Hab's other prospects are doing? >> Ok. I try to do it. But statistics in NHL and statistics in Superleague - two large differences. Be ready that the statistics will be poor. 2 Marc-Philippe L'Abbé : Ok ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dmitry, I am sorry to read that Tarasov is not doing well. He looked like he would have a promising future and Hab fans in Canada thought that he went to Russia to play regular. Now. From what you are saying, it looks like Tarasov future with the Hab’s is not very good. It is normal for goaltenders to take a long time to be very good. Sometimes they are 30 years old before they can play at the elite level. I hope this is the case. How do you get Hab’s information in Russia? Only through the internet? Our forum, HabsRus, we discusses the Hab’s in great detail. Perhaps too much detail. We debate every single move and every single play until we fall asleep on the keyboard and fall off our chairs. Thank you for your response and I am looking forward to talk some more about our favorite team. HA. (HabsAddict)

I don't think so. It is my understanding that some teams in Russia are sponsored by local companies or factories in some cases and take on their names e.g Lada Togliatti, Metallurg Magnitogorsk. Others, such as Spartak or Dynamo, are club names the same as ours i.e Rangers, Leafs, Canadiens etc...

<<Kuzia...tell me...do people in Russia care about the NHL?>> Hi again ! Yes, certainly. At us it is difficult to look games NHL, and the newspapers give much less informations, about NHL, but the steady interest is. Hockey - sport ¹ 2 in the country ( ¹ 1 - soccer ), and NHL - greatest league of the world, and many our players play in it. It can cause interest I think, that the next week we shall make page on our site, devoted to the Hab's prospects which playing in Superleague. I hope such project will to you be interesting Also we shall try to make the English interface to some our projects. << www.montrealcanadiens.ru/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl/YaBB.pl?board=habstwo&action=display&thread=22>> I think "YaBB-e.pl/YaBB-e.pl" in link be better. Forum use one base, but different (russian, english, french) interfaces.

Zdrastvuyte Dmitri, Privetstvie to HabsRus dome. That is all the Russian I will try for one day. One time I tried to communicate with a fan in Danish. I wanted to tell him that "it was wonderful to see Hab’s fans from all over the world" and I ended up telling him that “he was a wonderfull woman friend and Hab fans all over the world were monkeys”. I hope that you can understand our posts. Some of us use very colorful language and are very sarcastic. But, I hope you join us as often as possible because we love to hear from you and your fellow posters. Dmitri, these are sad days to be a Hab’s fan. We are all crying in our vodka because our beloved team is not doing very well. Dmitri, can we send our coach Therrien in a suitcase to Moscow? Can you get him a job to shovel snow in Red Square? Maybe you can get him a job to coach Siberian children’s team? We do NOT want him to coach our Hab’s anymore. We are very concerned and upset. To conclude the discussion about Tarasov. When he came to Canada we thought that he was a very good prospect. But he did not do that well in the AHL. When he returned to Russia we thought that it was because there was no more room for him in Hamilton (AHL) for him. Now it appears to be that his future is very dim with the Hab’s. If Tarasov can not make it as a starting goalie in Superleague, he will not make it in Hamilton and never make it in the NHL. That is bad news for Tarasov but it does not hurt the Hab’s at all. Average goalies are very easy to find in the NHL. Dmitri, we at HabsRus would be very happy to see information about Hab’s prospects. If you look at our front page you will see a section that we have about Hab’s prospects. It is very hard for us in North America to get good information on Hab’s prospects. Do you go and see some of the prospects games? In the Superleague? It is wonderful to see you here, I hope that you make it a regular visit. We will be coming to your board to share out thoughts. Thank you for your reply.

HA, Tarasov barely played last year because of injuries. He barely got a chance to goal in the AHL.
Maybe he still shaking off the rust.
