Marc, don't take this the wrong way, but grow up.
I've never wanted us to keep Rosie at the kind of salary he wants, so comparing anyone with him is pointless and childish.
What I (and others) have had an issue with was the return we got on him, when he was still a player with some value.
Compare Malhotra to Audette all you want....

If the article is accurate rosie's value has plummeted. Good to see because he's done nothing in a long time.
Do you see how many career penalty minutes the guy has; more pim than points and almost as many as games played. That's pathetic for a guy who doesn't use the body but takes cheap retaliatory penalties which hurt his team.
I'm glad to be done with him regardless who we got in return. i would feel much better though if Aud could turn it around. Although given what teams are prepared to pay this guy now it may have been that not too many thought much of him when we were trying to trade him. If that's the case Audette was a pretty good pick up.

Rucinsky is always criticized, but his time in Montreal wasn't all bad.
He never was convicted of rape! (Probably too much like work for him).
He never had a drug problem. (Always was able to keep his drinking a secret).
He never complained. (Come to think of it, he never worked and his checks never bounced, what's to complain).
He was a role model for our youth. (Chouinard and Ward for example).
He gave us less trouble than Yashin gave Ottawa.
He helped our goaltenders get game experience facing 40 shots a night. (Letting opposing forwards freewheel inside our end).
He never broke the Zamboni. (If everyone skated the way he did, we only would have to resurface the ice once a game).
Let's be more positive about our players and ex-players.

HFLA, I am seriously disappointed with you.
You forgot to mention that Rosie has a stud farm of which he is the main attraction. Mind you, that business is limping along very badly although I heard that Lafleur is also joining him.
Lafleur’s jovial personality and his pharmaceutical means can resurrect the business. I just hope it’s not mismanaged and over done otherwise Rosie might have to lend himself to a mining operation.
Rosie…………….*sigh*
