They played well but had some defensive lapses that had they gone the other way could have made for a different game all together. I saw Robidas get caught up ice on Tampa's only goal. He didn't play half-bad I guess. But he is still getting out-muscled along the boards. Dackell, Juneau and Bulis are playing extremely well. I think these guys can stay with any first-line in the league right now. Case in point; tonight they out-skated Lecavalier's line. In fact I think it was Lecav who missed his check when Dackell scored. Gilmour, Petrov and Zednik are still clicking well. And Yanic Perreault seems to have responded with Ribeiro on his line. As CO pointed out this kid is a keeper. I think Therrien has already told Mike that he won't be getting sent down. 8) Gino Odjick is turning into quite the leader these days. Some guys would consider a demotion to the "A" as a punishment. This guy said something like, "... it's a great learning experience." One key trait to any leader is humility and I think Gino has that. He scored a goal that really should have been stopped tonight, but heck, you just don't know when you put the puck on the net. I'm hoping he sticks around for a while. Asham, Petrov also seemed to play well. How did Dykhuis miss another clear shot on net? Anyway a good game by les boys tonight. Have to get that PP going though. Cheers.

They did have very few lapses and because they did not sit on the lead I left them out of the post game report. I Even left out Dykhuis's terrible clearing pass that Kubina picked off but fortunately put over the glass. The boys didn't sit back in the third and allow another Edmonton disater for that they get credit. go habs HFTO

Pretty boring game for the most part. Had trouble getting into it. This usually isn't a problem when we win big, but lots of neutral zone play, and not alot of end to end rushes, or big hits. We're seemingly out of the little slump we were in, and the schedule doesn't look too punishing (to me, anyway). With NJ, and the two NY teams starting to struggle, we could claw our way back into a playoff spot by the Olympic break. ;D
