Hackett could very well be traded soon With Julien at the helm, Garon's window of opportunity just opened a little... I agree. ;D Plus this is Garon's 2nd SO in his last 3 games, I believe. He's been on fire lately, and I remember hearing Rollie the Goalie on the bulldogs radio, and he was saying that the future in nets was Theodore and Garon. I know it doesn't mean much, but he was very high on Garon's play this year (although it helps having the top team in the AHL in front of you), he has been good every since camp/preseason. Put me in the trade Jeff Hackett group. He's a great guy, and if he would resign I would rather have him over Garon, but I would be surprised if he came back to Habland. We would get a 4th or so comp pick, as I would think a team like LA, Canes, Boston, Pitt, Minn, might want to pick up the UFA goalie over the summer. |

Put me in the trade Jeff Hackett group. He's a great guy, and if he would resign I would rather have him over Garon, but I would be surprised if he came back to Habland. We would get a 4th or so comp pick, as I would think a team like LA, Canes, Boston, Pitt, Minn, might want to pick up the UFA goalie over the summer. You don't get compensatory picks for losing a free agent of the group VI type (ie - guys who didn't get a fair shake in the NHL) |
