Hossa was 2nd star of the game, Gratton 3rd, Jason Ward "the spark plug" of the game. Hainsey had 5 shots on goal, Beauchemin had 6. Hossa, Pleks, Balej were all +1.
In Utah, Chouinard got his 8th, and had 9 shots on goal. Thinel picked up 2 assists.

Nice to see Chouinard picking it up. I like the shots on goal tally, more than anything else. In order for Eric to be successful, he has to be involved, and around the puck all the time. Pure snipers need to shoot, and it looks like that is what Chouinard is doing...
Maybe sending him to Utah really was a good move? Got him out of the spotlight, away from the pressure and expectations of Montreal? I am not expecting any sort of career with the Canadiens - I don't think he can ever overcome his reputation here - but he might be able to put together a Jonus Hoglund type career elsewhere.
Too bad, he was and is everything we need - a big, scoring winger. Hossa, Chouinard, Bulis down the left side certainly would have upped our size ratio...

and you forgot to mention getting him away from Quebec City and most importantly...his father....now Chewy has to help himself out since daddy isn't around..
