Any word on Linhart?
Milroy is probably having a disappointing season. He was supposed to challenge for the WHL scoring lead, and he's what? 20th? (I just looked that up) Plus, he was supposed to be an "integral" part of Team Canada, and now this...
Maybe his inconsistancies troubled the coaching staff. He seems to go on these hot and cold streaks every once in a while, and maybe they were afraid he would hit a cold streak at just the wrong time. I could see them cutting him if the tournament was on international ice, where his skating limitations might be exploited, but in Halifax, on the smaller rink, one would think that his crash and bang style would have fit in perfectly...
No Michaud, and now no Milroy. Ouch.
