Instead of making 2 threads, I just put both together. The list for the WJC's should be out next week, as the tournament is a month away. Anyone going? I wish I was, but can't afford it. Anyway here are the Habs prospects that should be there. Russia Alex Perezhogin, should be a lock to be on the team Konstantin Korneev, could make the team, but we will have to wait and see Canada Duncan Milroy, I would be shocked if he doesn't make it Oliver Michaud, should be there, but not so sure he makes it. Jothan Ferland, doubtful, but with the season he's having, he should, but Team Canada is deep this year, so I would be surprised if he makes it. USA Chris Higgins, Also a lock to make the team, IMO. Since he was their leading scorer last year. For Sweden, I think Johan Eneqvist is to old to play, if not he could make the team maybe. So we should have 3 guys for sure, but maybe 5 at best. As for Chris Higgins. Tonight Yale won 7-1. Higgins had 1g 1a 2pts. On the season now, in 7 games 5-5-10.

Good News! Jothan Ferland has been invited to Team Canada camp (well someone at HF told me, so we'll have to wait till monday when the offical list comes out). I really hope Ferland makes it, but I have my doubts that he will, same with Oliver Michaud.
I have talked with a few people from Russia, and they think Korneev is a lock to make the WJC's, which would be great. And Eneqvist is indeed to old to play.
Ikko Mikkola has been named to the Baltic Cup for the Finnish Senior National Team.
Yale didn't play yesterday, but they play tonight, so I'll post Higgins stats after the game.

what about Perezhogin? is he make their team?
do you know if Ovechkin and Zherdev are gonna make that Russian team? I can't wait to see those two highly touted kids in action.

Well they said Perezhogin was a total lock. He was on the Senior National Team, so he will be on the WJC team. He's a lot more of a lock then Korneev. As for Ovechkin, he's injured right now, so I don't if he will make it. Zherdev, I would think would be there. Kovlachuck could also be on the team, but he said he just wanted to play in the final game, don't know if the team would do that.

Higgins gets it going tonight. Yale wins 3rd in a row 6-1. Higgins 1g 2a 3pts.
8-6-7-13. 13 pts in 8 games, is good. He's the leading scorer out of all NCAA Hab prospects. Shasby and Selig both have 9 pts in more games.
