Well, that was pretty interesting.
They asked him some tough questions...''do you think you are ready for the NHL... now'' and Komi sort of hesitated and said he really didn't know.
Then they asked him about being compared to greats like Stevens and Blake and he was cool about it and said he is just learning, gaining confidence every game, etc.
Then he talked about being a big guy and how he has to be physical. He also said d-man have to know when to go for the big hit. Let's hope that's what he is learning now in the AHL. No point in always going for the big hit, because you'll be out of position most of the time
To conclude they asked him about the hit on Travis Green against the Laffs in preseason...and all Komi sort of did was ''chuckle''. Like it was nothing. He said the reason he did that hit was to ''leave an impression'' as camp was ending. He also said he wanted to make Green pay for skating with his head down ;D
All in all, you can see the guy is a gentleman and maybe that kind of hurts him on the ice. BE MEAN ON THE ICE KOMISAURUS ;D

Well, maybe he is too much of a gentleman.
Perhaps we should get a gang together and get him some hookers, smokes, beers and a T-shirt with "I'm Bad" printed in red.
Perhaps he should do what a guy had in a party I went to in Macon, Georgia. The guy must of been 6'8" and weigh 300 pounds. On his neck he wore a rope and he had t-shirt with, "I dare you to pull it" printed on it. Maybe he should do the NHL equivalent?
As for the guy with the rope? When he fell asleep on the sofa, I tied the rope to the cat's collar. There were about 10 people passed out all over the place as it was about three in the morning. Well, I went outside, started the car, went back in and yelled "FIRE, FIRE" at the top of my lung and run like hell. The last thing I heard was a cat meowing, a guy screaming "what the f**k" and things crashing...................took a week to stop laughing.

The fact that he got a laugh out of giving a guy a concussion tells me that he is no gentleman. He's young and wanted to make an impression by knocking a guy out. What is wrong with that?!?
I love this kid, but wonder if he can handle the microscope we'll all have him under.
