Sounds like Fichaud is having a good game. Ryder hit the crossbar. Fichaud just came up with a big save.

Fichaud is playing Bouillon and Balej are still scratches Balej is being scratched? How long has this been going on for? I really don't like the idea of one of our top propects being scratched for an extended period of time...

Balej is being scratched? How long has this been going on for? I really don't like the idea of one of our top propects being scratched for an extended period of time... He's been injured. On the radio they said it was minor but he's missed a week if not 2 by now. He's been out since before Ribeiro was down. Both Balej and Bouillon are injured. Dogs get shutout again. Back to back games. Gratton had a goal disallowed, and with the goalie pulled they couldn't get a goal 5 on 3. Its a shame for Fichuad who played well, as he picks up his first loss of the season.

I attended this game. The boys didn't get many quality changes at the Syracuse goalie. They didn't really forecheck at all. Syracuse's goal was on a rebound close in that just trickled in. Fichaud had a great game.
Hossa was skating great but didn't get much done around the net. I focused must of my attention on Hainsey and Komisarek. Hainsey moved the puck well with excellent outlet passes. Komisarek played an excellent game and was on the ice for the last 1 minute after Fichaud was pulled. I will say Edmonton's prospect Alexsi Semenov is a player. Syracuse forwards just bounced off him.
I have some pics from the game. Is there a place I can post them?

Post them right here...just use the image feature in those features on top.
Thanks for the report...how was Hainsey's defensive game? that's really what concerns me right now

Now, I'm still learning my digital cameral plus I had to deal with the Onondaga War Memorial's wonderful lighting and marked up glass but they aren't too bad. Oh, and the glass isn't seamless either! Hainsey setting up the power play during the 1st period. Komisarek takes exception to Syracuse's Tim Jackman after a close call in front of Eric Fichaud in the 3rd period. This was the only time Hainsey and Komisarek were put out as a unit. Hainsey looking on during time out with 30 seconds to go down 1-0.

thanks! Did Komi show a rough side? Well, I will say he never gave an inch all night. He had a couple of people lined up but let up on one because the guy had passed the puck. The other he pasted behind the net. Again, the guy had gotten rid of the puck. Komi looked over at the ref quickly to see if his arm was up (it wasn't). Another thing about the ref. During breaks or before face-offs, if Komi was around the ref, he kept up a running dialogue. At one time, the ref even was joking with him during a commercial break at the Hamilton bench. Don't know if the guy was a past teammate or what? Again, Hainsey was very good at getting the puck up the ice and out of the zone. I still feel he should be with the Habs now. He looks bored with the AHL level, IMO. I was hoping Hossa would show me something but didn't. Skates great and has good position in both ends however he didn't impress me around the net. Alas, this is the only time Hamilton visits Syracuse this year. Last year we say them a lot. Such is AHL scheduling from year to year.

Those pictures are cool. I listened to the game, and it sounded like Fichaud was very good. Ryder seemed to get some chances as well. Fichaud was named the 2nd star of the game.
