After completing a two-game road trip in Saint John this past weekend, the Hamilton Bulldogs will return to home ice this week. On Saturday, November 2nd the Bulldogs will host the Philadelphia Phantoms for the first time this season in Hamilton. The Bulldogs will conclude the weekend by facing off against the Rochester Americans on Sunday, November 3rd at Copps Coliseum. Game time is 7:00 p.m. The Bulldogs have a record of two wins and one loss when playing on home-ice thus far this season.

The Bulldogs finished the month of October with a record of 4 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie. Hamilton earned 3 wins, 4 losses, one tie and one overtime loss in October last season.

ALLEN IS A PLUS:
Bulldogs defenceman Bobby Allen is tied with Darren Haydar of the Milwaukee Admirals for the AHL's best plus/minus. In seven games Allen has earned a plus / minus rating of +9.

RITA TIED FOR AHL GOALS LEAD:
Bulldogs forward Jani Rita has scored six goals on the season, which ties him for top spot in the AHL. Last year Rita scored 25 goals in his first season with the Bulldogs.

GARON RECALLED BY CANADIENS:
Goaltender Mathieu Garon has been recalled by the Montreal Canadiens. Garon, 24, played in two games with the Bulldogs, posting a 1-1-0 record, a 2.01 goals against average and a .934 save percentage. The native of Chandler, Quebec registered a 5-1 win on October 23rd versus Rochester and then made 36 saves in a 3-2 loss on October 27th against Saint John. Garon was originally assigned to Hamilton for conditioning purposes on October 22nd.
