They knocked off Syracuse tonight 3-1. Two games and two 3-1 victories.
Listening to the game here are my thoughts... This is a good sounding team but I don't know for how long. The best line on the ice, by far, Ward with Rita and Gratton. Every and I mean every time they were on the ice they created havoc. I have to believe Rita will be with the Oil soon.
Let me start banging that drum now... Ward is on fire and deserves to replace Lindsay right NOW!!! He's on the #1 line, #1 pp and #1 pk and seems to be performing well plus he dropped the gloves.
Of note Gratton has the 'C'.
I heard Balej and Hossa's names a few times, Josef had a short handed breakaway but I didn't hear Plekanec at all. I wonder if he sat out. Currently there are 29 players on the roster.
Ty Conklin (G) is playing very well. Too bad he's the Oil's.
Komi and some semi-goon on the crunch exchanged words and slashes but didn't go. Would have interesting.
That's all for now.

Forgot to mention only 4,430 people in the stands. Not great for a home opener.
