Hamilton won their season opener this afternoon at Rochester 3-1. I forgot it was an early start and missed the radio broadcast but I see that Ward scored twice. He was the only baby Hab on the scoresheet.

This just in...Ward has been demoted to the ECHL as he was obviously too offensive minded as one of his goals was while the Bulldogs were shorthanded.

To you from failing hands we throw the torch, be yours to hold it high.
