There's a very interesting player profile on this guy at Hockey's Future. Are there any indications that he'll come to play in North-America in the not-to-distant future? He really seems to fill a void... www.hockeysfuture.com/prospect.php?pid=1445__________________________ Talent Analysis A hard working player who has the rarely-found ability to take abuse in front of the net, Kim Staal possesses some qualities the Canadiens are missing in their current lineup. He's an excellent aggravator, who provides a tremendous work ethic and screens goalies to no end. Despite being average in stature, the young Dane absorbs abuse very well, which is a talent. Few teams could compete for the Cup without having players with this ability, and there's few players in today's NHL that could take the abuse without taking stupid penalties. Staal is a coach-able player who mucks and grinds and scores his few goals coming off the sideboards. His play down low is strong, and he's a solid team player. __________________________ He also has very decent stats in the Swedish Elite League.
