I watched something on the CBC about Krispey Kreme, they have the best taste but they also have twice the fat as donuts from Tim Horton's, which is the place they used to compare.

Mmmm, fat and sugar - two of the essential food groups.

Tim Horton's Donut chain was dredding this. I heard they were opening up 250 more donut shops across the country just to try and compete.
However, I guess there are lines of people waiting for the fresh, hot donuts that Krispy Kreme Donuts offers.
From what I heard, Marc, your reaction isn't all that surprising.
What's the way to every Canadian's heart? Drive-thru donuts and coffee.
The quality in TH's has already dipped. They're using frozen dough now. I hope they come up with a challenge. Still, I can't wait to try a KK donut.
Cheers.

Krispy Kremes are the most amazing donuts ever. Their coffee is really good, too, nice and STRONG.
I don't think they'll be worrying Tim Horton's too much, TH depends more on location and quantity. KK would have to open hundreds of franchises across Canada, and that's not their plan (for now) - just a few in each major centre will be enough for them.
Dunkin' Donuts, especially in Quebec, are crapping their pants, however. The defection of franchises is unprecedented here in Montreal - we've got Double Donuts, Coffee Time and other names replacing decades-old Dunkin Donuts franchises that got fed up with the head organization. Really weird to see.
What is Coffee Time, anyway? It looks like something from Ontario or the Atlantic.
