Video Game system oh ya playstation etcetera. umm mines an AMD 1800 with a radeon 9600 video graphics card 17 inch flat screen monitor and 5.1 surround sound card. It also has uses like Habsrus discussion boards and video conferencing but mostly its just a big expensive toy.

I'd say a lot of the people on the board are past the age where they waste time on video games, but no me, yet, unfortuneatly.

I own the three main ones, Xbox, Game Cube and PS2.
PS2 is my favorite, good mix of games, and I like the PS2 controller for NHL 2003.
Game Cube is too kiddy and Xbox needs more big games.

My son has an N-64; old but he's a whiz at it (what ten-year-olds aren't)
He loves the racing games, but perfers "anything-007-ish." Heck, dad even gets into saving the free world from time to time.
Cheers.

I'm still having fun with my old Nintendo (8 bit I think). Super Nintendo's just too complicated for me. I like it when it's easy. Best golf game ever

MoH was fun (I just played Allied Assault though) but some of the missions were ridiculously tough (heck I wanna play, not train to be a war machine...) Mostly I like adventure game that are linear enough to keep you focus on "finishing" the game. The Longest Journey, Syberia and the Tex Murphy series were among my favorite games.

LOL! I still play Mario Bros and a football game for NES (10 Yard Fight - best football game ever!!) once in a while You're speaking about american football, right ? These games never reached this side of the Atlantic ocean. But Super Mario Bros (the first one) still is THE game. Along with the golf game, of course. They have this "je ne sais quoi" which I can't find in nowadays games.

Gamecube is sorta kiddy, but some games are awesome. I'm really looking forward to F-Zero GX, the best racer of all time IMO.
If any of you have N64 or your son's, and you love racing, rent or buy F-Zero X. It is a blast.

Yeah, American football - I don't like all the fancy, be-the-coach, 3D, simulation based football games they have now.... Mario 1 is probably the first video game I ever played so it brings back a lot of memories FZero is fun too.

I'm still looking for a game on Macintosh where you had to find different items and bring them beck to their owners. Must have played this game around 1988-1989 I think. Can't remember its name and can't find anything on the net either.
Ah nostalgie, quand tu nous tiens...

Can't remember its name and can't find anything on the net either. I used to play a game on the Mac (about 6 years ago) where you had a bunch of dots in a grid and this stick that rotated around the dots and moved from one dot to another. I can't remember what it was called and I haven't been able to find anything similar on the net.
