An awesome rock band from Canada has broken up after 12 years of performing. Lead vocalist Hugh Dillon had lead roles in the movies ' dance me outside' and 'hard core logo', plus a few addiction problems. Here is the announcement from their website headstones.com: ......................................................................................................................................... After 12 solid years of touring and making records, we have made the decision to disband. It is for both personal and professional reasons, only time will tell if we shall return. All of our love and gratitude to the fans who supported us through this incredible time; we would not have made it without you. We will keep everyone informed. Love, Headstones

I guess they saved one of their best singles for last. "Reframed" is one of my favourites. www.headstones.com/index2.htmlI'm not too sure what Hugh Rush Dillion is singing about, but I think it's about his successful fight against substance abuse. I didn't like all of their music, heck I'll be 45 soon enough. But I've bought some of their in the not so distant past. Too bad, but like most bands it was coming I guess. Twelve years isn't all that bad though. Cheers.
