Just read it on Canoe.ca guys. It's the first time that Israel has hit Syria in three decades. cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/World/2003/10/05/218179-ap.htmlWashington is urging restraint on both sides, but also suggested that Syria stop harbouring terrorist groups. Any guesses as to reaction/retaliation? I hope I'm wrong, but escalation comes to mind. Cheers.

Cheers. As long as Prime Minister Sharon and his poeple are given support by occident, especially the United States, terrorisme will continue. Shooting Hamas poeple just makes them heros for the Palestinians. I hope that Israelis will find somebody else to lead them. Saddly, I can't see any real leader waiting to recontruct their relation with their neighbours. Rabin has been killed and Sharon is already 80 years old. And Netanayu (wrong spelling, I know but I can't remeber how you write his name) would just continue the war against "terrorists". Actually, the solution could come from a new man in the White House next year. But until then, there will be more "breaking news" on CNN. Still, I do hope that Israel will be given a serious warning by the UN, Europa and America concerning this attack. It would create a dangerous precedent (un dangereux précendant).
