Haha.. there's nothing more pathetic than fans of perennial losers. Trying to blame millions of years of futility on a fan. As if it isn't every fan's dream to go to a ballgame and catch a ball. It's not like he put a run accross the plate. The Cubs had ample opportunity to win that series, and blew it.

Man, when I first heard about it I thought it was a homerun, but it was just a foul ball. I can't believe people can blame giving up 8 runs in the 8th inning on a foul ball

There were at least 5-6 people reaching for that ball. He was just the poor sucker thatcaught it.

There were 2 outs if I'm not mistaken, the Marlins never wouldve had that 8 runs and the Cubbies wouldve gone to the WS.
The only real stupid team is Boston, I don't even know why I've always cheered for them, almost as much as the Expos. People have no idea how tough it is to be fans of these types of teams.

There was one out....if Moises catches it it's the 2nd out...and since Castillo is not on base along with Pierre, maybe Gonzalez doesn't boot that grounder a few moments later and gets the only out needed. Amen to that !!
