I know the Habs are playing tonight but the rest of the sporting universe will be glued to the Red Sox/Yankees game for the ages. At least make sure the recall button on your remote is in full working order.
Pedro is not automatic right now and he's developed a spolied brat kind of attitude since his days in Montreal. That beaning and taunting episode in Game 3 was an embarassment, but there were no apologies from the "little man", as Felipe used to call him.
Definitely the biggest game of his career. GO SOX!

I love Pedro, but hate the Red Sox.
And I like it when bad streaks like the Sox and Cubs conitnues (although I really feel bad for Cubs fans). It's a pecking order of sorts ... The Sox and Cubs will have to win long before teams like the Leafs ever get a chance. LOL !!!
You see how it went ... The Rangers won in 1994, the Wings won in 1997, the next on the list should be the Hawks (Chicago connection to the Cubs ?), and then its the Leafs turn.
As long as any Chicago team can hold off on a championship, we can safely keep chanting 1967, 1967, 1967 !!! ;D

I used to hate all Boston teams purely on principle - cause I hated the Bruins so much. I didn't want Bruin fans to be happy under any circumstance. I am, however, pulling for the Sox, as I've always be a big fan of Pedro. I figure that the Expos'll never get their day in the sun, but I still like to pull for my favorite players after they leave. It's dissapointing that Pedro is merely a star pitcher as opposed to unstoppable. I don't think I've ever seen as dominant and intimidating a pitcher as he was a few years ago. Who knows. Maybe tonight we'll see the Pedro that pitched a 1 hit, 17k masterpiece at Yankee stadium in September of 99.

That was ridiculous to leave Pedro out there so long. He was well up there in the pitch count, and pitching on 4 days rest. There should have been a pitching change at the first sign of trouble in the 8th. It's a team game, have some faith in your relievers.
