Canadian citizens and other "friendly" nationals are not fingerprinted....THIS year. But wait.
I do NOT want ANY COUNTRY to have my NAME...PICTURE and FINGERPRINT. That is MY identity and I have a right to it. It's called PRIVACY.
If the US implements this to Canadian citizens then I will not visit the US. There is an entire world out there that I CAN visit and enjoy myself without the goverment of that country assuming I am guilty until my prints/face/name prove me innocent.
Wait until the US goverment requires identity cards for ALL Americans. Then we will see what "freedom" really means.
Defend the practice now but FEAR IT and FEAR IT with a passion......
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First came for the foreign nationals, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a foreign national.
Then they came for the non-residents, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't an non-resident.
Then they came for the immigrants, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a immigrant.
Then they came for me -- and now there was nobody left to speak up.
As the suicide bomber said in the note he left behind (lines later incorporated in a hit single): "Freedom's just a word for nothin' left to lose."
If you wouldn't speak up for the others, why should anyone speak up for you? Prepare to have your barcode scanned. We are nearing the end of days.
I love the fact Brazil announced they will fingerprint and photograph US Nationals entering the country. ONLY US Nationals, mind you, not anyone else. Good way to retaliate without submitting everyone else to the same stupidity. Then again, it's their country, no one is forced to visit it. Perhaps people will visit sunny Canada in the summertime instead?
