Can someone help me out ?
I'm trying to make a 50's and 60's compilation album for my father's birthday - he likes Elvis, the Platters, that kind of stuff. Any of our members who are of my dad's generation are asked for ideas... (and if you want to avoid telling everyone how old you are, just PM me your ideas and I'll be discrete ;-) (unless it's discreet ? I always get confused about which one is something being in quantifiable amounts and which one means shutting up - anyhow, I'll be both for any PMs I get ! )

discreet - Marked by, exercising, or showing prudence and wise self-restraint in speech and behavior; circumspect.
discrete - Constituting a separate thing or consisting of unconnected distinct parts (notice how the e's are separate?)
