Couple of good points. Gratton back. Dogs outshot them 40-30, so the large number of shots for is a good sign. When you look at the line-up it looks more respectable than it has in a while. The addition of Komi, Hossa, Bouillon and Ward will make a huge difference. Especially Komi and Bouillon. The bulldogs defense has really been decimated the last 2 months. Add two potential AHL all-stars on defense, a definite right wing all-star and an excellent left winger, and this team is ready to roll. I want the Calder!

I don't know if Cube is going down to play in the playoffs...he would have to clear waivers to do so and Habs may not take that risk... Hainsey watch: even and 5 shots on goal

I see a joe Murphy scored for the other guys, now before I lose my mind completely, is this the same Joe Murphy from the NHL eons ago. Every once in a while a name never goes away like Greg Adams, Gary Smith etc. In basebal its worse, with so many Garcia's, and all those Gonzales', and on and on.

I used to know a guy who hung with Joe Murphy, back in the day. Apparently Murphy is quite the head case, and marches to the beat of his own drum, as they say. A pretty wild and crazy kind of guy.
Wasn't it Joe Murphy who trained all one pre-season with the New York Rangers, only to then sign with the Boston Bruins? Prompting Neil Smith to grab Murphy's skates and throw them into the Hudson?? God, that was funny...
