For those who are computer savy, they can deal with them by leaving your setting where you do not accept third party cookies. OR Go into your browser setting and set it to stop cookies from certain addresses. OR Load a free pop up stopper like this one: www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,8060,00.asp There are more of them out there so it would greatly help the community if people recommended what they used. Before anyone complains about the pop ups, remember, they help to pay for the bandwidth of this board. A necessary evil of "free" boards.

Google toolbar is great for blocking ads also. www.google.com ...It's free.

Google is very good. So is Mozilla's web browser. It has a built in popup manager. I haven't seen a popup at home in years.

Here is what to do for those who are using Explorer. Go to Tools (on the top of your browser) Go to Internet Options Go to Privacy Go to Edit (bottom of pop up) There you can enter the websites you WANT TO BLOCK. Here is a list from this site pop up attack. wwwfinder.net

Google is very good. So is Mozilla's web browser. It has a built in popup manager. I haven't seen a popup at home in years. Yup, I use a Mozilla browser myself (Firebird, but it's been renamed Firefox) and it does a great job for managing cookies and popups. I can't understand why anyone would stay with IE.
