I Survived "Little Black Book"

Recommendation: never say That’s all right – you choose whatever movie you’d like to see and I’ll go along with you to your teenaged daughter. Sheesh!
That being said, I survived her pick. Little Black Book will not win an Oscar. Trite? Yup. Predictable? You bet. Engrossing? Let’s not push it – mildly entertaining will cover it (accent on the mildly). But to connect with her and to be a shining knight in her eyes even for one day (I’ll be back to you’re so old in no time) was well worth it.
On another note (hey, I’ve had a couple of weeks of hanging around at home; unfortunately it’s back to work tomorrow) I watched The Station Agent with Mrs. Franko tonight (just doesn’t sound as good as "Mrs. Dis", but I didn’t watch it with her). Quirky? Yes. Slow? Kinda. Quirky, yet slow? Yes, but watchable (and more enjoyable than Little Black Book, believe me!) Earn points – bring it home one night.
