I found this on another board (Russian Ice Hockey): Special Olympic Report: Secret Russian Sports Weapon Disclosed
VANCOUVER, BC - September 21, 2000 (INB) -- Olympians may benefit from technology derived from the Cold War Era. For decades the Russians have been secretly using a unique performance enhancement device that has proven to increase endurance levels by as much as 900%, balance coordination by 300%, and reaction time by 100%. In studies conducted by the Soviet Union just after World War II, negative ion generators were used during training of Track and Field athletes, Gymnasts, Swimmers and Boxers, as part of a new Soviet policy decision to dominate international sports.--the article--R.

I have 5 negative ion generators in the house and THAT is why I am such a great poster. I would have placed more of them but I am out of capacity of my cold fusion reactor.
Be careful of some side effects......
*Need to have sex 24/7.
*Makes man prettier.
*Makes woman handsomer.
*Makes dogs talk.
And the worse side effect of all......
*Sadly, you can see through clothing.
This side effect has psychological implications. You can see what gravity and Big Mac’s do to humanity and that could be very traumatizing. As a cure, I have placed full size mirrors through out the house so as to easily admire my own naked beauty.
All in all, the side effects are not too bad.
P.S. Have you guys tried wrapping your heads in tin foil before posting?? The tin foil reflects your thoughts back into your brain and makes for amazing thought clarity. In fact, how else can one be as lucid as I am in this thread without a tin foil reflector. Think about that!

Hey, it worked for the Maple Leafs back in the 70's. Hold it -- wait -- no it didn't!

It seems that negative ion generators help clean the air, due to a reduction of dust levels - but it's effect on humans would be questionable at best... www.madsci.org/posts/archives/mar98/889732352.En.r.htmlI've heard of this stuff before. I'd actually have to see some better independent trials before I even start believing the air quality claims.
