Bosox finally beat the Curse of the Bambino by beating St Louis Cards 4-0 to win the World Series. A few ex-Expos out there on either side of the diamond (Cabrera, Pedro, Francona, Larry Walker).
86 years...Congrats!!

At the same time I was hoping for the jinx to lift, I felt bad for Larry Walker. He's made as much of an impact on Canadian baseball as Fergie Jenkins had IMHO. Granted, Fergie is in Cooperstown, but I can see Larry there as well.
Still, the Red Sox were on an incredible momentum roll. They steamrolled right over the Cardinals.
Cheers.

They seemed to have quite admirable chemistry. Lots of team spirit. Ever notice how many ex-Expos are so good in the playoffs? The 94 team was loaded with clutch players.
