Some of them even informative and of value. BC can no doubt provide the statistical measure.

I agree, he's unstoppable. I just noticed that I'm in third place, with nearly half as many posts. I'll never overtake him but with some luck I can just about maintain the same ratio. Trouble is, I get sidetracked with work and travel while M. Beaux-Eaux flows on on like Ol' Man River.

April 3rd looks about right. If not, I have some new thoughts about books

It wasn't that long ago that we were oohing and ahhing about 1,000 posts. I don't think Mr B. would have had the number of posts he has had there been a season last year (unless, of course, he had incorporated the Los Angeles Kings record into his posts [which would have depended on Garon's numbers -- see, see?])

Both Mr.B and Blaise would have greatly multiplied their post total arguing about the art of goaltending. The lockout gave them time to gather strength before the next round.

But if there had been a season we'd have to add the posts about mercenary Kovalev and the cries about Balej, and the forever bang-for-the-buck argument . . . and maybe we'd be wondering about his 20,000th post! ;D

So which post was number 10,000? I must have looked away for a minute while actual living was going on and missed it! ;D

Damn. I must have missed it, too. The hand is quicker than the eye.

I think it happened, appropriately enough, with my beginning the "Goofballs" thread in this forum.

Then all of us (100%) who took this poll were correct:
