Ducan Milroy's season is over, as the Ice are eliminated. Also Archer and Himelfarb are done as well. Usually, prospects dont' sign untill their season is over. Does this mean that Savard will get busy and ink these 3, or will he let it go down to the wire like he did with Larrivee and Marios. (Someone at HF claims to play pickup hockey with Larrivee and said that he was sure the Habs wouldn't offer him a contract). I dont' know about the rest of you, but I would hate to lose Milroy and Archer. I really hope that Savard signs them but I guess we'll know over the next few weeks, as June 1st isn't that far away.
Would you sign Milroy, and the others or let them reenter the draft?

Well, you have a limit of 50 contracts, we don't know how close AS is to the limit, but he might be fairly close, and if he thinks they're longshots anyways.... and if they're such longshots you might not get anything in return for them anyhow. After all, Hanchuk and Chvojka were just let go a while back (see the Dyment thread ;-) )

Milroy and Archer will be signed...unless they ask for more $$ than they are worth.
AS needs to prove his picks are good...so no way he wants to let them re-enter the draft and get drafted somewhere else...and we also need to fill the Dogs for next year...

Sure but it doesn't always work that or else no one would ever reenter the draft. My question is, do others want to see Milroy signed. How about Archer, Himelfarb and Shasby?

After all, Hanchuk and Chvojka were just let go a while back (see the Dyment thread ;-) ) Well lets see. Under contract 1. Theodore 2. Garon 3. Michaud 4. Fichaud (team option I think) 5. Brisebois 6. Dykhuis 7. Quintal 8. Hainsey 9. Komisarek 10 Traverse 11 Rivet 12 O'Dette 13 Ward 14 Hossa 15 Zednik 16 Perreault 17 Dackell 18 McKay 19 Juneau 20 Sundstrom 21 Audette 22 Czerkawski 23 Balej 24 Plekanec 25 Larrivee 26 Marios 27 Thinel RFA's 28 Koivu 29 Bulis 30 Markov 31 Ribeiro 32 Kilger 33 Bouillon 34 Gratton 35 Descoteaux I think 36 Landry I think Will they be back 37 Odjick ? 38 Tarasov? 39 Blouin? 40 Lindsay? Add 41 Higgins 42 Perezhogin 43 Ferland 44 Milroy 45 Archer 46 Himelfarb 47 .... 48 .... 49 .... 50 .... Edit: As far as prospects go, Savard has traded 2 Dyment and Asham, and he's let Hanchuk, Chovjak, and I think Gauither all go free, and he's not resigned Razin, Guren, X. Deisle, Balanger. All of these were not picked by Savard, and none of his picks have be moved as of yet unless I am missing something. This is the first year that his picks could be lost.

Yes, the assumption tends to be that when a kid is offered a contract he'll automatically sign, not reject it.

Will they be back 37 Odjick ? 38 Tarasov? 39 Blouin? 40 Lindsay? Odjick "settled out of court". Tarasov is "Back in the USSR"; he only signed for one year when he came over prior to last season. Add Beauchemin, Ryder, Dwyer and Souray to the list.

Add Martie Jarventie and Matt O'Dette to the list, I believe. Also, prospects that were let go include Francis Belanger (Anaheim), Josh DeWolf (Detroit, though I am not sure if he is still there) and Matt Carkner (San Jose). Add Eric Chouinard to the traded list. Still none of Savard's guys...
