Ah, yes.. I totally forgot about Lindsay.
I couldn't even remember his first name for about 5 seconds... Brian? No. Ted? No. Brad? No. Ah, yes.. BILL. ;D
I assume Balej isn't playing.
Oh yes, what's the goaltending situation? Is Garon in Hamilton? Or is Conklin playing?
EDIT: Conklin is in net.

No Garon would have to clear waivers to get down there. Obviously we did not take that risk.

Looking good. Outshot Springfield by a wide margin. Only black spot was 0-8 on the PP. Makes a huge difference to get 3 guys like Hossa, Komisarek and Hainsey playing. Both Mike and Ron were +2. Calder, here we come.
Here's a report from "Stoka" at Habfans, who was at the game. Like what Hainsey did at the end.
"The first period was quite sloppy. Since they had a first round bye, don't lose fact that the Bulldogs haven't played in over a week. As the game went on the Bulldogs seemed to finally get in sync. Both the Canadiens and Oilers prospects impressed.
As for our guys, HOSSA has several quality scoring chances. But, couldn't find the back of the net. PLEKANEC played his usual smooth finesse game. WARD was all over the ice. Skating hard, digging for the puck, hitting and shooting. HAINSEY and KOMISAREK were paired up. They did a good job at both ends of the ice. The power-play was awful though. BEAUCHEMIN was throwing his body around. However, he was caught out of position a few times because of this. RYDER's speed and hustle were evident. GRATTON played a good two-way game. He even blocked one shot a la Guy Carbonneau style. BALEJ did not play. He was a healthy scratch. Both veterans, CZERKAWSKI and LINDSAY, were both effective. The latter was getting under the skin of the Springfield players.
The funniest moment was when a Falcon player was on top of Conklin (the Bulldog goalie) and wouldn't get off. Hainsey skated over and literally picked him up and dragged him off and then threw him unto the ice. Julien was present and was honored prior to the game. He shared the top coach award. There was a fan, wearing a Hainsey jersey, who kept walking over to the penalty box to heckle any penalized Faclon player. We couldn't stop laughing. Next game (in Hamilton) is on Thursday night. I will NOT be able to attend. Go Bulldogs! "
