I always love watching when individuals and teams (in this case) when they get their chance to achieve their Olympic dream. That personal celebration after the winning shot in the tenth end is classic, especially in this case for someone who lost in a previous final to the late, great Sandra Schmirler who went on to win gold before the losing the ultimate battle. My wife and I have tics for a few curling gold medal games and some mens' hockey games, so bring it on!! www.sandraschmirler.org/HOME.HTM

I am as nervous as H-E- double hockey sticks about today men's final. Congrats to Shannon and her team ... hopefully she can have a good old fashion kitchen party tonight! (but can say anything just yet, no jinxes .... relax ... breathe )

Skilly, you can breathe again, the young Newfoundlanders are going to Torino as well. Another close one, if not for a line call error on Stoughton's first stone in the 10th, we could be playing the "what if" game. Nice to see the young guns (and old man Howard) get a well deserved spot, they played well all week.

YAA HOOOO
What a team ...... Stoughton with his "no chance" comment , Ferbey with his "$47 dollar" comment, and Mike Harris picking them eighth .......
There's going to be a party tonight!! They are all invited for some crow!! ;D
