That video brought back an OLD, buried memory.....

A long time ago, my wife moved to a very small apartment for short while before we got a proper apartment of our own. Right next door lived a lady that seemed nice enough. We even had coffee a couple of times.

Well......

One morning, I was staying over and was alone in the apartment. I was getting ready to go to school when I heard fist pounding on the door. Yes, it was our next door neighbor and she was hysterical. She was screaming that the CIA was after her and hitting her with laser beams. No, I am not making this up.

To say I was dumbfounded was an understatement. Here was this half dressed woman in hysterics and me standing there in total confusion. For a while, I thought it was one of those secret camera comedy shows.

Anywho.....

I phoned my wife and asked her what to do. She said, "call the cops". Wow, brilliant and simple. Why didn't I think of that? Police arrived 10 minutes later and which point she went into an absolute RAGE. She said that they were going to take her away and experiment with her brain and now it was MY fault. YIKES!

My wife stayed with her mother for the rest of the week and we were OUT of there. I don't know what happened to her but the images of her slashing away at me and wife with a very large kitchen knife stayed with us for a while.

LOL....I think just about everyone has had a freaky neighbour at one point or another. I learned very quickly not to make friend with my neighbours.

In fact I did the opposite and had everyone scared of me...I was the guy no one fcuked with...LOL.

Its funny how easy it is to leave an impression on people who don't know you...

I'm an easy going, fun loving kinda guy, but I found people would take advantage of it and make my life a living hell, and I would have to move.

So one of my friends told me about a little secret he used to do:

1) Don't ever talk to anyone!

2) Get the cops to drive you home.....(around supper time is great...everyone is home. I have quiet a few cop friends so this was easy)

3) Throw a kick ass party your first weekend and hope there is some sort of fight. (being new to a building, the landlord usually will let one crazy party go)

4) If your buildings has a laundry room, do your laundry in your underwear.(Believe me this gets alot of attention)

5) Every time you leave the parking lot squeal your tires.

Sounds pretty simple, but believe me it works great, nobody talked to me, no one ever knocked on my door or complained about anything...loud music, whatever.)

You will run the building, it was great, I really miss those days!!

Just when I'm regaining faith in mankind.......

Then again, she might be more closely related to some type of monkey than to actual homo sapiens. There wasn't much sapiens in her.
