I watch his show but not nearly as much as I used to. I'm older than his target audience so the CBC probably doesn't care. Lately I find it a little oppressive, especially the CBC edict that he must be referred to as "Strombo", as in strombo.com. I find the show has the air of manufactured cool & most marketers know that is a dangerous thing to a product whether it be an energy drink or a TV personality. The part of the show that makes me laugh is the letters. Like most people that do this on their shows, he can be very choosy about what he reads on air. He's not bringing negative opinions to the public, he is defending himself on segments like the interview with Stronach. CBS & George should stop trying so hard & let it happen or it won't happen at all. BTW, has anyone ever seen ratings for The Hour? I'm curious about the numbers & demographics.
