17 tries and only one donut... I don't even particularly like the coffee. But a chance at that car, too good to resist.

That's one donut more than I've won Closest I ever got to a "big" prize: a couple of years ago I was in line behind a neighbour and was talking with him while we ordered. He had ordered 2 coffees (he was meeting with a friend); the server must have thought we were together and gave me one. I passed it over to him and took the next one on the counter. Turns out that was a winner: a bar-b-que. Nice rings and a pretty good nail job you got there franko. ;D I feel a bit like Hansel and Grettel: HA pointed me in the direction of some spa . . . I'm not sure, though . . . they were talking about some wax job and then a meeting with Wendy? Wanda? Methinks I'm being set up for something . . . ;D

1/12 so far, I've won a donut. I get a coffee 3 times a week regardless so any free beverage or muffin I get is gravy.

Have to keep up with the rest of the posters here. HDTV? Big deal . . . or so I said until Tuesday night. Invited over to a friend's place (yes, I have friends) -- just got a 60" HD with all the bells and whistles and an amazing sound system. I was always happy with watching a hockey game on regular TV -- no longer. What a difference! Alas, I fear no amount of whining is going to make one fit the budget. A trip to TO next week garners me about 6 chances to win. Odds? (Oh, I think I'm 0/10 or so).

I havent won anything this year ... 0 for 5 ... but in previous years I have won a few free coffees. I once won a free coffee, then with the winner won another free coffee, then with the winner won another free coffee, and then won a fourth .... never won a donut yet. A co-worker won $1000 2 years ago ..... but it if wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck.

Tsk...tsk ...tsk...the poor are getting poorer and the fat one win donuts!
We get 2 TH coffees a day and in the last three weeks we had 4 coffees and two donuts. Therefore about 6 prizes in 30 coffees.

Don't know if it's true or not, but I was told that the outlets have to purchase their own major prizes and that's how they get the big-prize cups.
If it is true then I guess the big-ticket items would be purchased by the most successful Tim Horton's chains in the larger cities.
A few years ago I won about a dozen times. This year, twice.
Cheers.
