HAMILTON, ONTARIO (TICKER) -- MICHAEL RYDER AND JARRET STOLL BOTH SCORED LATE IN THE SECOND PERIOD TO LEAD THE HAMILTON BULLDOGS PAST THE MANITOBA MOOSE, 3-2, TO WIN THE EASTERN CONFERENCE SEMIFINALS AND ADVANCE TO THE EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS. RYDER NETTED HIS SIXTH GOAL OF THE PLAYOFFS WITH 77 SECONDS REMAINING IN THE SECOND PERIOD TO GIVE HAMILTON A 2-1 LEAD. STOLL SCORED ON A POWER PLAY WITH ONE SECOND LEFT IN THE PERIOD TO GIVE THE BULLDOGS THE LEAD FOR GOOD. RAFFI TORRES SCORED EARLY IN THE SECOND FRAME FOR HAMILTON, WHICH LED THE BEST-OF-SEVEN SERIES 3-1, BUT LOST TWO STRAIGHT BEFORE DEFEATING MANITOBA IN GAME SEVEN. TY CONKLIN TURNED ASIDE 28 SHOTS TO EARN HIS FOURTH WIN OF THE PLAYOFFS FOR THE BULLDOGS, WHO WILL HOST THE BINGHAMTON SENATORS ON TUESDAY IN GAME ONE OF THE EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS. JASON REID SCORED IN THE FIRST PERIOD AND BRANDON REID TALLIED MIDWAY THROUGH THE THIRD FRAME FOR THE MOOSE, WHO MADE THE PLAYOFFS FOR THE SIXTH STRAIGHT SEASON. TYLER MOSS MADE 30 SAVES AND TOOK THE LOSS.
