Don't know how many of you are following this story but I only took interest in it when I heard he was found guilty. There was a lot of speculation he would just simply walk away and remain a rich man, which is why I didn't follow the trial too closely.
However, I guess he's guilty of obstruction of justice and three counts of mail fraud. Here's a cut and paste from CBC.

Former media baron Conrad Black has been found guilty of obstruction of justice and three counts of mail fraud, following a 15-week trial in a Chicago courtroom and more than two weeks of jury deliberation.
Following the verdicts Friday, Black was ordered to return to court July 19, for a decision on whether he will be released on bond, or taken into custody as he awaits sentencing in November.
And within hours of the verdict, Black and his legal team said they would appeal his convictions.
Here's the rest of the story.
I guess Lord Black was made to surrender his British passport. I also read that he has interest in re-obtaining his Canadian citizenship, which he gave up so as to be member of the British House of Lords.
I guess Black also has some very influential friends as well. I saw a photo taken just after he was made a Lord. In addition to himself, Henry Kissinger, Margaret Thatcher and Lord Carrington are in that photo. This isn't the photo I'm looking for but it gives you an idea.
Will he do serious time in prision?
