A neighbour of ours has written a book about how her family dealt with cancer [ When Cancer Entered Our Family ] Worth reading. If you want a copy don't buy it from your bookstore or on-line: she's selling it for the same price (sans tax, I think but all proceeds are going to fund a scholarship in her husband's name.

A nice story for sure, Franko. Cancer is all through my mother's side of the family and a bit on my dad's side as well. I don't partake in the fund-raising events but I do give donations. A while back I posted something about a young man who was rollerblading across Canada. He started in NFLD and finished in BC and his name is Rich Ralph. His website is www.seetheend.com and here's additional some information on him as well. Well, he finished his trek and his parents, our neighbours, are back home now. There can't be enough exposure and education on this disease. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
