That must make them ... "winners." I remember the first meeting between the Giants and the Packers earlier in the season. It was more of the Giants beating themselves with all the dropped passes, than it was the Packers beating up on them. Still, I was pretty happy to see that last-minute touchdown. I don't think the Pack would have taken it this close. The Giants definitely had a better chance to upset the Pats. Cheers.

Gotta hand it to the Giants' defense. What a job. If anybody was going to penetrate that O-line, it was their D.
What an escape by Manning...and "helmet catch" on the reception to set up the final touchdown. They'll be showing that for a while.

What an escape by Manning...and "helmet catch" on the reception to set up the final touchdown. They'll be showing that for a while. Yep .... which is why I am dumfounded that they named Eli MVP. His QB rating was 87.25, thats only a little over 50%, since QB ratings are out of 156.3. It is painfully obvious, that the NFL wanted back-to-back Manning MVPs, if the Giants won. What about David Tyree (uggh I hate him). He doesn't make that spectacular catch and it is all over. And that wasn't his only catch ... he had a touchdown in this game as well. Or the guy I would have named MVP ... Jason Tuck. He had 5 tackles, 1 assist, 1 forced fumble, and 2 sacks ... 2 sacks against an offensive line that was as stingy as they came all year when it came to protecting Brady. A defensive guy deserved the MVP, the Giants won because of their defense, not Manning. That escape, would probably be called "in the grasp" more often than not unless your name is Vince Young ... but you can't take that away from Manning. But one play and one drive does not an MVP make, especially when it was kept alive by a spectacular catch, and a few hail mary I hope they are caught type heaves. On that last drive there were also 3 passes that were should have been intercepted, just plain dumb luck that they weren't.

Speaking of copywrites, I was listening to the radio this morning and the sports dude said that a book written to commemorate the Patriots' 19-0 season was all set to gountil the last night. In fact, some have pre-paid for the book as well. Oh my! Here it is now ... ;D ;D ;D 19-0: The Historic Championship Season of New England's Unbeatable Patriots (Paperback)
Makes the victory just that much sweeter and the defeat that much more bitter. Good on the Giants!

The Packers were a disaster with a 37 year old qb who wasn't sure if he wanted to play. They has a wonderful comeback. The Giants started with two bad losses and little bro fashioned a wonderful comeback. Receivers like Moss shouldn't be doing the breaststroke in the end zone until Baby Pappillon has finished singing.

I notice Amazon.com isn't promoting the book any longer. That, or my link won't work any more.
Cheers.

What are they going to call their book? "The Ultimate Choke"?
