Well, my mother-in-law has arrived from the west. Two week stay. Entertainment time.
We thought that we might take her to Montreal for a day (Tuesday, weather permitting).
Other than the Biodome, where can I take an retired non-walker? Any and all ideas would be appreciated, but she is a non-drinking non-BINGO playing pretty laid back person. Moreso even than me! ;D
Guys, this is a serious cry for help!

Notre-Dame cathedral is gorgeous. The Oratoire St-Joseph is impressive too. The view from the top of the mountain can be impressive if she's used to the Western flatlands. (though if she's from anywhere close to the rockies she'll wonder where the Mount Royal is, even as she stands on it...)

Ya, she's within striking distance of the Rockies.
Remember when I moved out to Ontario (just north of Toronto) from Alberta. Someone wanted to take me to the Blue Mountain. We got out of the car and looked around. I wondered where the mountain was -- we were at the top!
otoh, a lake is a lake out here!
How is parking downtown Mtl? Is NDC in the old part of town?
