I want to see Hamilton take it all, but I wouldnt mind them loosing one of the next two games. That may have sounded crazy, but it would allow us to watch Hamilton win the Calder Cup (famous last words) on sportsnet since they have said they would air game 6 and 7 if they take place. Its nice to be able to listen to the game over the net, but actually seeing them take it all would be amazing. If they end up beating the Aeros in 5, it will still be great, but id rather see them skating around with the cup (if they do that in the AHL too that is) and not just hearing the cracked up announcer trying to descirbe everything.

Are you sure, cause someone at HF said they emailed Sportsnet and they said they will only show game 7. I'd take a Cup win any way possible, as it would be a great boost for the young guys, as camp is less then 12 weeks away. But even if they lose the Cup, it has been a great run, where they got a ton of solid experience. Hainsey has really stepped it up and improved on his major weaknesses, which is the most promising part of this playoff run, IMO. Ward has continued his great play, Ryder is still scoring goals left and right, Beauchemin has been perhaps the top defensemen on his team all season long and throughout the playoffs, Komisarek hasn't slacked off even though he must be very tired after playing only 40 or so games last year, to more then double that this year, Plekanec has been effective with limited icetime along with Balej who has been good in his short stint, Fichaud was a major part of the teams success until recently (Conklin has been much better after some shaky games). All in all, a great learning experience for our future players. Only Hossa's roller coaster play has me concerned, but not much, as he has been solid at times, and some young players tend to struggle with intenisty/confidence.

Pretty boring game up to now, Hamilton couldnt score on a 5 on 3. Penalties going both ways yet still no score. Nothing really notable.
Edit: Hinz just hit the post, most exciting part of the game up to now... Hossa had a partial breakaway but could not finish earlier.

Peter Hogan (?) gets clobbered behind the net, the Aeros player gets checking from behind and a misconduct. Bulldogs on a 5 min powerplay now. Komi, avenge him after 2 goals by the dogs

Im getting confused, anybody else listneing to the game? I just switched to the Aeros radio station and now they saying it was the Aeros who had the 5 min PP... Well it looks like both got 5 min PP near the end of the second, while the Aeros PP went through to the 3rd period. Two Aeros smash into each other and give Torres a breakaway that the goalie saves... best chance so far. Aeros announcers are hilarious with their prenounciations Plekainiek, Balage, Botchemind.

Aeros keep getting PP, they are playing a very good game in the third, have a bad feeling about this game. They keep firing the puck wide or missing the puck, Conklin is really holding down the fort, lucky the Aeros seem to have absolutely no finish tonight.
