Taken 177th overall a goalie from Sweden, and plays on the same team as Johan Eneqvist.

Christopher Heino-Lindberg
Birthyear: 1985 Nation: Sweden Position: G Length: 6-0 Weight: 165 Drafted by: -
A very talented young goalie. Heino can make those huge games and has a strong mind. He is a quite spectacular goalie plays with a lot of heart and has a temper on the ice.

his save % look awful though aside from one stop.
Guess at this point he is worth the risk if he is that talented.

Hopefully Rollie can turn him into a goalie.

www.canada.com/montreal/sports/story.asp?id=76E10D07-84D3-4980-9837-42F230B51143Christopher Heino-Lindberg (6th round, 177th overall) is a 6-foot, 163-pounder from Hammarby in the Swedish junior league. "We saw him play for the Swedish under-18 league and were impressed with his athleticism," Timmins said. " One of the top coaches in Sweden said he's the best goalie prospect since Pelle Lindbergh." ....

Another interesting goalie draft pick:
quote from the same article:
Jaroslav Halak (9th round, 271st overall) is a 5-foot-11, 165-pound goaltender from the Bratislava junior team in Slovakia.
"We had him ranked in our top 90 players," Timmins said. "He was named the top goaltender in the world under-18 championships."
--------------------
Looks like the Habs made a couple of good picks to add to their goaltending depth. I much prefer this method of drafting goalies than using a first round pick on one. It's rare that a goalie makes an impact before the age of 25, in the NHL: which is about 7 years after they're drafted.
