Taken 241st overall. ANOTHER ROCKET. What the hell is going on, 3 players all from the same team, plus Lambert last year. But Bonneau is, 6'3 217 3-22-85

Odette was already a third ranker from our "heavyweight" stable. He was behind Blouin and Dwyer..................which is not saying much.

Yeah, O'dette wasn't even playing in Hamilton. Blouin I hope I can finally forget (why the heck was he playing in the Calder finals instead of Balej? ), and Gordie might get his first NHL goal within the next five years.

Good ole Geoff Ward only knows So I gather this guy is an enforcer? Yes from what I read he's a good fighter that sticks up for his teamates. His 1 and only goal this year was a game winner though.

So I read today that he averaged about 5 minutes a game for the Rocket. That's ice time, not penalty minutes.
So given that, that he clearly is not a player, but a brawler, and given that his five minutes of ice time per game probably wasn't enough to make anybody think he has any "potential" to be anything more than the "role player" Trevor Timmins has already annoited him, I have to ask the question:
Since he isn't going to be better, and since he was drafted purely for his fighting skills, and since Montreal kinds of lacks a true heavy-weight, will Jimmy be breaking camp with the big club next year? What further "developing" does he need?

Who says he isn't going to get better?
I read somewhere that Bonneau's "role" was increasing as the season went on, so i expect that next season (his 2nd in the Q), he will probably be able to play a bigger role and maybe get 10 minutes a game instead of last years 5.
The kid is too young to play that role in the NHL. He will need to get stronger, learn the game a bit more and surely further develop his fighting "skills" before he is ready for any kind of NHL duty.

I like this enforcer pick because we didn't waste a high pick for him and because he's teamate with Lambert, Urquhart and Lapierre. They are going to stick together and fight for each other.

I read that Jimmy lost three fights as a Jr. We already have guys who can lose fights and score more than 1 goal a year.
