Great to get him under contract.He may just turn out to be a Mike Keane-type player down the road for us IMO.

Saw lots of Whitey live and on TV this past season. He is a great all round player and has lots of leadership as was evidenced this past season on a really deep Calgary team.
Good to see him inked to his entry level deal. Welcome to the fold Whitey!!

not surprised he was signed, afterall its peanuts unless he gets a callup. the kid has a lot of work to do to get to ride the jets instead of the buses. i expect 2 years in the a for him, unless he suddenly finds great work ethic. he will have a crack at the bottom two lines, but those players are not difficult to find, great ones are though. if it took chips two years down there then it will probably take whitey at least that. the kid does have very good vision, anticipation, reads, passing, so you never know, i won't count him out. the bulldogs are going to be a really fun and interesting team to watch next season, i'm looking for a big rebound! alright back to golf......and scouting  |
