If that guy could ever put it all together from October to playoff time....oh man.
He is one talented hockey player.

Mathias Brunet feels that Pat Marleau is the guy Gainey is targeting. Good God, I hope not. This guy has to be one of the most overrated players in the league. Please please please!!! Sign on the dotted line Sundin.

Sign on the dotted line Sundin. That's why I said if he could ever put it all together. He seems to be missing that competitive edge you need to win in the playoffs...the extra gear. He's got all the tools, though. Speed, strong on his skates....great shot.

Not the least bit interested. Come to think of it ... I think that's Patrick's problem too.

In my pig headed and biased opinion (IMPHABO) Marleau is the real deal. He's a guy who shows up when it counts the most: The playoffs. Arguably the guy had one bad playoff and several great ones yet he has a reputation of having no heart and not showing up. He was San Jose's best player in the playoffs this year. When people say he's not a playoff guy there is NO doubt in my mind that they haven't actually watched him much. The Habs would be lucky to have him. That said I can't see San Jose getting rid of him and if they do the asking price will be pretty steep.
