There's a few out there that are memorable. Here's one off of "The Last of the Mohicans." Probably one of Madeline Stowe's best roles I think. The Last of the Mohicans - SoundtrackThe whole soundtrack is good actually. Something about the fiddles in this one that gives the music authenticity. Very appropriate for the movie. Cheers.

Good music for sure but I personally felt it kinda strayed away from the theme of American Native... I feel the theme is very Irish... Many favorites for me but the Ave Maria version in Alive was quite moving in the movie

Many favorites but the Ave Maria version in Alive was quite moving in the movie Funny what we each see. I envision something completely different. It reminded me of some of the fiddle music I heard down east, or what some of my French friends used to listen to. Have to get back to work. Will check in later. There's other pieces that are pretty good as well. Cheers.

It's pretty cool that Nancy Wilson (of Heart) wrote the song "Fever Dog" performed by the fictitious band Stillwater in the film - and is also married to the director Cameron Crowe.

I actually listen to the soundtrack of The Rock fairly often. It's entirely instrumental, and great background music for when I'm working.
Another soundtrack I enjoy because of the music it used, is Queen of The Damned. Just a good group of songs from artists I like. I didn't buy it however, because I already have 80% of the songs on CD.

I listen to it alot ....... a guilty pleaure is "Tiny Dancer" ... the scene where they all sing it on the tour bus is pretty good.

Braveheart. Has a nice flow of music to it. Beat me to it. Theme from BraveheartOne of the soundtracks I really enjoyed over the years, believe it or not, is the soundtrack to Conan the Barbarian. I remember the first time I saw it I thought the movie was ok, but I also thought soundtrack was actually one of the strong points to the movie. If anyone has seen the movie each musical piece seemed to fit it's scene perfectly. When listening to these I suggest opening another browser. There's not much to the vids on You Tube. Main Theme (have to get through Mako's speech first. I bought the CD years ago and it tells how many French Horns were used in this one ... to lazy to get up and find out though) Theology/Civilization (excellent) The Kitchen/Orgy Scene Cheers.
