Nice. I actually thought he was better than Traverse/Dykhuis during that one training camp, and that one game he played, but he seemed to struggle in the AHL, especially with injuries. Reminded me of Stephane Robidas. If nothing else, he provides solid depth, though I think he may surprise in training camp...

He had a strong playoff run just recently, hopefully he builds on that.

for this year.... Beauchemin-one of Bouillon/Traverse/Hainsey Jarventie-Archer Shasby- ?? With the return of Souray, we may see two of the three Bouillon/Traverse/Hainsey in Hamilton. It all depends if Dykhuis will be used in the line up, if he is, Traverse and Hainsey will end up in Hamilton IMO. Markov - Rivet Dykhuis/Bouillon - Brisebois Souray - Komisarek Bouillon/Dykhuis/Traverse/Hainsey So left in Hamilton should be: Hainsey - Beauchemin - Archer Jarventine - Carpentier Shasby, Traverse We are low on RD for Hamilton, I guess a guy like Traverse could be place at a RD position, but I dont want to pair him with Hainsey, wrong kind of mentor. Carpentier was signed by Hamilton so he should still be on the team unless his contract ran out. Signing 1 or 2 RD might not be a bad idea.

Thanks for poiting that out, he sliped my mind. Well... that makes things harder. All 3 of Traverse, Bouillon and Hainsey may end up in the AHL now. Markov - Rivet Dykhuis/Souray/Quintal - Brisebois Dykhuis/Souray/Quintal - Komisarek Dykhuis/Souray/Quintal Unless somebody gets traded, or we go with two D in the pressbox, all three will probably end up in Hamilton. We should have let Bouillon go to Europe IMO, just added another problem by signing him for 2 years, at least its a 2 way contract.

In order to truly progress, Hainsey has to be given a true chance....a regular shift on the big team. That's for both Hainsey and the Habs to progress. We're not going anywhere if Dykhuis is a regular, or Quintal, or Breezer. If we're truly going to go with youth, we have to take a calculated risk and play our high risk, high return prospects. IMO, our defense has to have the following regulars - Markov, Rivet, Souray, Komi, Hainsey and one of the others. Theo or Garon is going to have to be the bailer outer. We stick with these guys and by April we'll be a much better team than if we had used Breezer, Dykuis, Traverse, Quintal, Beauchemin or the Cube on any kind of regular basis. Which means PB has to be traded.
