what's the deal with this guy? I have heard Montreal say he is signed for next year with Hamilton..is he Habs property? anyone know?

what's the deal with this guy? I have heard Montreal say he is signed for next year with Hamilton..is he Habs property? anyone know? Marc, Carpentier is not Habs property, he was signed by Hamilton, so he can not be called up. He's a fill in for the dogs, but a great addition, IMO, cause he doesn't play much, but when he does, he takes the prssure off Blouin for the tough guy role. Carpentier is one of the top fighters in the AHL, he will drop them with anyone, and win most of them. Nothing special in terms of skill, but I'd take him over Blouin (not saying much there) as he can play defense and wing if need be. I assume he will be the 7th defensemen in Hamilton. |
